Conradie Park is built on the land of the well-known Conradie Hospital which closed down in 2002. In order to preserve its history, some of the very first structures that were built in 1938 have been restored to its original integrity and has been incorporated at the Community library and events and social centre.
All our current housing blocks are named after iconic South Africa monuments and places, many of the building designs also took inspiration from their namesakes. By adding elements of the past into the present, we hope to use it as a base to create a better future.
The Castle Rock apartment block pulls its name inspiration from the renowned diver’s beach in Simon’s Town.
